One of the Original Temporary Service Agencies in Michigan
Fasco began as a temporary service in Michigan in 1957, by Ruth Fassezke. For the first 30 years, Fasco helped local businesses by placing clerical workers in temporary positions throughout Lenawee County.
Secretaries, receptionists, clerks and other administrative positions were filled when openings occurred due to special projects, maternity leave, vacation, or illness. From the beginning, Fasco helped businesses keep running by providing the temporary service support they needed. Many contract employees with Fasco gained permanent positions with some of the leading companies in the area as a result of their work through Fasco.
Temporary Service Expanded as Fasco Grew
Janet and Frank Stevenson purchased Fasco in 1989, and began to expand beyond clerical placements in 1992. With the addition of industrial placements, the company gained a leading spot in Lenawee County, placing thousands of employees in temporary positions with successful local businesses.
Generational growth and service growth expanded in 2001 when the couple passed the business on to their daughter, Jolene Bowles. The new vision for employee services grew to include clerical, industrial, technical, and professional fields.
Jolene believes in providing the best possible service to Fasco clients. Providing top quality communication and coordination is the first step to understand client needs. Fasco representatives show genuine interest to client concerns, and work to establish business relationships that are mutually beneficial for years to come. Growing along with the expanding needs of local businesses, Fasco expanded their temporary service to offer more hiring solutions.
Temporary Service Becomes Employment Solutions
The best way to place top quality candidates in client positions is still by following proven methods started from the beginning, with old-fashioned, one-on-one meetings to get to know each client, and each employee. The individualized communication is part of the backbone of success that Fasco relies upon, even with today's modern communication methods.
As businesses in Southeastern Michigan grew, they also needed more than a normal temporary service for job placement. Fasco now leads the way with advanced employment services that save local businesses time and money. Many of the normal placement tasks are provided to clients at no additional charge.
Fasco is proactive in providing employment solutions. Going beyond the traditional help wanted methods, Fasco evolved from being a temporary service to being a full-fledged employment solution by proactively recruiting candidates in advance of job requests. Recruitment methods and events throughout the community keep the database of employee prospects full, ready to be called upon when a client company has an employment need.
If a business has a temporary service need, Fasco can fill that, plus just about any candidate placement service associated with that need!
